Let's give a huge Dog Training Camp welcome to our newest student, Raylan! He is a beautiful Australian Shepherd who knows how to pose for the camera. But beneath his shiny coat lurk a few bad habits which Raylan will be working hard over the next 3 weeks to correct.
Raylan loves to play, but sometimes he plays too hard with his siblings. He also has a tendency to decide on his own which of his owners' commands he's going to follow. Now while Australian Shepherds are extremely intelligent, not every decision Raylan makes is actually in his best interest. He needs to learn to listen to his owners better so he can live a long, happy, and safe life.
While he's at camp, Raylan is going to learn how to play nicely with other dogs; especially dogs who are smaller than he is. He's also going to practice his self control so when his owner gives a command, he can follow the command instead of what his instincts tell him to do. The next 3 weeks are going to require a lot of hard work from Raylan, but after all, he is a working dog. This will be just another day at the office for him!
