This workshop covers basic leadership skills and obedience geared to the needs of foster dogs and is FREE to Rescue Volunteers and Foster Homes. These tools help you establish a consistent routine in your home while fostering, making the dog more balanced and well behaved. This in turn helps make the dog more adoptable, and these skills can also be passed on to adopters. Well behaved dogs are more likely to remain in their new homes, which is the ultimate result everyone wants!
Fosters are welcome to attend WITH your foster dog, if you have one at the time of the class, or without, if you don't have currently have one. Attendees can also reap great benefits from the workshop even without bringing a dog as it allows you to concentrate on the information without the distraction of handling a dog.
Workshops are scheduled on a group by group basis. We're happy to come to rescue events or any other group occasion. If you, your rescue group, or a group of volunteers are interested in attending a workshop, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
